John S. Micali

President

As President of the Allied Companies since 1993, he has personally performed over 10,000 residential and commercial building inspections, construction-in-progress inspections, forensic Inspections, 40-year re-certification inspections, roof Inspections, ASTM Property Assessments, and Reserve Study Inspections. He has performed construction consulting, cost and forensic consulting, and rendered expert testimony for various commercial projects to multiple large clients in the legal, lending and development community.

As a general contractor, owner and developer in multiple ventures, he has acquired, developed, renovated, or restored and sold over 140 properties in South Florida over the last twenty years

A Florida Certified General Contractor, Roofing Contractor, Pest Operator and Home Inspector, he graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Building Construction in 1989. His broad range of construction management and development experience in residential and commercial construction gives him a strong knowledge of building codes and construction practices.

Codi Harris

Director, AE Operations & Administration

As Director of Operations and Administration for Allied Engineering, Codi Harris oversees company-wide operational and administrative functions, ensuring efficient, organized, and litigation-ready business processes. She works closely with executive leadership to implement strategies that support organizational goals, drive growth, and maintain consistent service for Allied’s clients.

Codi combines her extensive legal knowledge with her administrative expertise to manage litigation support, documentation, compliance, and risk mitigation. She translates complex legal requirements into practical processes, ensuring both operational efficiency and organizational clarity. Serving as a primary point of contact for internal teams, external counsel, and clients, she navigates high-pressure matters with a calm, solutions-focused approach.

Before joining Allied Engineering, Codi held leadership roles in legal operations and administration, supporting matters across personal injury, family law, bankruptcy, civil rights, immigration, and criminal law. She holds an Associate of Arts in Pre-Law Studies from Miami Dade College and is completing her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Communications at Pace University.

James “Jim” Miller

Forensic Engineer

Jim Miller is well known in the South Florida real estate community for his expertise on property site assessment and property condition assessments for over 20 years. Jim, with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Florida professional engineers license, provides expertise and oversight in commercial inspections, the certificate of use ordinance and construction consulting. Jim has performed over 5,000 inspections and remains one of the most requested engineers in South Florida.

Michael Saxe

Forensic Engineer

Michael Saxe is a seasoned and dedicated Florida Licensed Professional Forensic Engineer. Michael specializes in building inspections, forensic investigations, and damage assessments for both residential and commercial structures. A graduate of the University of Florida, Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, along with a minor in Business Administration and Sales Engineering. With a robust background spanning various civil engineering specialties, he possesses extensive expertise in building envelope components and structural systems, offering a comprehensive understanding of building codes, construction practices, and the impact of environmental factors on building systems.

Michael’s professional journey has been marked by notable roles at industry-leading organizations. As a Project Engineer, he delivered a wide range of consulting services, including design, construction, cost estimation, inspections, and project management. He has extensive experience in engineering practices conducting design and construction analyses along with a focus on producing design documentation and services. Michael’s dedication to his field is further demonstrated by his leadership within the American Society of Civil Engineers (Broward), where he served in various capacities, including President, President-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer, showcasing his commitment to the advancement of civil engineering.

Roy Bodman

Professional Engineer

Roy Bodman is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer and a forensic engineer with Allied Engineering. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Roy has performed substantial work with building envelope components and structural systems. His background in engineering, construction, and project management gives him a strong knowledge of building codes, construction practices and the effect of water and weather on building systems and components.

Juwanza Campbell

Forensic Engineer

Juwanza Campbell is a Forensic Engineer with Allied Engineering. Having backgrounds in structural specialty engineering, project & construction management, and construction administration, Juwanza values and exercises the opportunity to utilize the knowledge and lessons learned from forensic engineering to strengthen his design engineering skills, and vice versa. Juwanza is a graduate of the University of Florida and is a Florida licensed Professional Engineer.

Chris Lebrun

Professional Engineer

Christopher S. LeBrun is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer with 10 years of diverse experience across various domains including on-site inspections, design, consulting, and certification of engineering documents. Christopher graduated from Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His professional experience and education in engineering has given him the ability to examine forensic structures and review structural planning as well as maintain knowledge in areas of foundation analysis, wind load calculation, settlement estimation and construction material testing.
